"I'm going to find Jesus"

I've been very busy the past couple of weeks. Here are a few of the high points....

  • Nana and Nana Rose went were on an airplane and had a lay over in MSP so they came looking at Christmas lights with me, mommy, and daddy. We also stopped for ice cream!
  • I've learned that when we are at stop lights red means stop and green means go. I now announce to my chauffer (my mom) what color the light is and whether they should go or stop.
  • I had a pajama party at Preschool. I wore my Little Mermaid jammies, and my princess slippers. We watched Dora's Christmas movie and ate popcorn.
  • I love looking at Christmas lights. I like to find Baby Jesus, and green lights. Sometimes I tell people that I'm going to look at lights by saying "I'm going to find Jesus".
  • I went to my first "kid" birthday party. My friend Bella is turning 3 and we celebrated yesterday. We played and danced. Then we ate pizza and cupcakes. I had fun, but I was a little nervous mommy was going to leave me, so I didnt let her out of my sight.

Babbitt

I am currently in Babbitt for the Thanksgiving party at my Nana and Papa's house. All of my friends were at the Thanksgiving party. We had yummy food, and pumpkin pie. I was so happy to have all of my friends at Nana and Papa's house!

Tonight, I went skating for the first time. I went to the rink where my Papa Joe used to be the hockey coach. Papa, Uncle Joe-Joe, Ry-Ry, Chrissy, and Derek used to play hockey there....and Cory and Michelle skate there now, and my Mommy, and Auntie Amy used to skate there....it only makes sense that I would learn to skate there!

I was a little nervous at first, but I got the hang of it! I held on to mommy and daddy's hands. And Derek helped me skate too! Cory skated next to me, then Derek took me around the rink REALLY fast!

I dont mean to brag but I'm pretty good.

Sometimes I say funny things....

Yesterday I went to the mall with Mommy. Santa was there too. Mommy and I got close to him but I said I was "too sared" (scared) to get out of my stroller to give him a hug. I yelled from a distance what I would like for Christmas (a baby sister) and then I blew him a kiss and we left, as we walked away I yelled to him "Take it easy, Santa"

Then when we got home Mommy let me take out my new Veggie Tales nativity scene. Mommy showed me how mine is just like hers. Only mine is plastic. And because of this the legs on the manger fell off. I thought it was broken so I said "It is broken. Sorry, Jesus."

Christmas-ification

Today was a very Merry day at our house. While I was taking a nap Mommy and Daddy Christmas-ified our house! They put our tree up and decorated it, put up our stockings, our Nativity scene with Baby Jesus, and other fun decorations.

When I woke up from my nap Mommy helped put up my tree in my bedroom and she let me put my own decorations on it. I have an ornament from each Christmas with my name on it. I love my Christmas tree!!!!! Here are some pictures of me decorating it...

Blog about a Blog

Yesterday I was quoted as saying "Daddy, I have a blog."

My first day of Preschool

Earlier this week I started going to preschool at Mommy's class. I'm still working on being a good listener to Mommy, but so far I have been a good student. I have 2 friends there. Their names are Charlotte (aka Hello Kitty) and Lilly (aka Purple Shirt). I'm working on tracing letters with markers and mom says after that I get to learn how to write my name!

Halloween

Okay, so I know that I haven't blogged in a while, but let me tell you...I have been very very busy! Halloween alone left schedule booked for a few days....
I went to a Halloween Spooktacular at Life Time.
Then I went to the party at Mommy's Preschool.
Then Cory came and we went trick or treating at Uncle Derek's office. (I dont meat to brag, but I am VERY good at trick or treating!)
Then on Halloween I went trick or treating at the mall and around my neighborhood...
Then I had the task of eating all the treats I collected (okay, I havent really eaten ALL of them!)

Here are some pictures of me on Halloween.....

Ouch!

Last night after mommy, daddy, and I took Lady for a walk I wanted to show off my trike riding skills. So I took off down the drive way....but I forgot that the drive way is down hill, and I crashed off my trike. I good a wicked road rash on my chin and nose. I was pretty brave....it was nothing a Hello Kitty band-aid couldn't heal.
Now I kinda look like mommy. She said when she was a kid she feel off her bike going down her driveway too. Maybe we will have matching scars.

Nana and Papa's House

Last weekend Mommy and I packed our suitcases (mine is pink!) and headed towards Nana and Papas house. Along the way we stopped to get my friend Auntie Amy (and her suit case).

Here are the highlights of the trip:
  • I saw lots of pretty horses out my window. I named one of them Zoe and the rest I named Katie.
  • Papa fed me ICE CREAM!
  • I went to see my freind Uncle Dave at Auntie Jill's house
  • Cory and I did summersaults
  • I went to Auntie Jill's table to eat candy
  • Cory and I danced
  • I went back to Auntie Jill's table to eat candy(!!!!!)
  • I went for walks with Nana and Papa
  • We had a party for my Mommy and Papa's birthdays (I got to eat cake and ICE CREAM!!!)
  • I got to wear my Vikings dress to church
  • I tried to tell the sermon at church

Overall, I had a great trip to Babbitt. I have told everyone I've seen since then that I went to Nana's house. I can't wait to go back!

I heart Wendy's

Okay, so I've never actually eaten at Wendy's....but I really really want to.

Everytime we drive past the Wendy's in Lakeville I see the giant inflatable frosty cup and I scream "ICE CREAM". Then I make loud smacking noises like I'm trying to eat it.

Mommy and Daddy have not taken me their yet, but I'm still holding out hope that one day my cry for "ICE CREAM" will be answered!

Can you understand the words coming out of my mouth?

Funny and adorable things I've said lately:

"Hey mommy, dot com."

"Me all out of kisses, me give you hugs though."

"Me love my friend Auntie Amy all the way up the moon and back. Auntie Amy loves me, too."

"Daddy and me watch Handy Manny in our underpants"

"Go Cubs Go"

"Me sad, no Cubs on tonight"

I kissed a goat and I liked it

This weekend my friend, Auntie Amy, came to Lakeville to visit me. Since she had never been to an apple orchard before, I took her, Mommy and Daddy to Emma Krumbee's in Belle Plaine. We had a lot of fun. First, I fed a camel grass. He was so big! Daddy wanted to go on a camel ride, but I told him that we probably didn't need to do that.
Then, they had a big Noah's Ark climber. Daddy loves playing on the climbers so I played with him in it for a long time. They even had a fireman's pole, so I let daddy catch me at the bottom.
Then, we took a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch. I showed Auntie, Daddy, and Mommy how to pick the best pumpkin. You have to hug them all and see which one hugs the best. I found the perfect one!
After we had our pumpkin we walked out to look at all the scarecrows.....they were pretty funny! There also were some goats. I went to visit them. They were so cute I just had to give them a kiss! Mommy wasn't so happy about me kissing the goats, but I liked it!
Finally we went to pick apples. Mommy and Auntie picked most of the apples. I went on Daddy's shoulders and picked apples from way up high! Then, Daddy and I shared some apples....there is nothing better than eating an apple fresh from the orchard.
After the apple picking Mommy, Daddy, and Auntie were pretty tired, so I took them home to take a nap. :)

My Trip to "Doof"

This past weekend mommy, daddy and I made a trip to see Auntie Amy in Doof (Duluth). We drove up on Friday night. As soon as I got there Auntie adorned me with gifts and treats. Even tho it was my bedtime, Auntie let me stay up late to drink apple juice and have bunny crackers! (Auntie Amy is the BEST!)
After we woke up Saturday morning Nana come to see us. She brought something called Apple Fritters....they were the biggest treat I had ever seen! They were sooooooooo tasty!!!!!
We went down to Lake Superior (or Big Blue as my Daddy calls it). We posed for a few pictures but it was SOOOOOOOOO cold Nana and I went in the museum while Mommy, Daddy, and Auntie went down the pier. After we left the lake we went to the Fall Fest. I mostly played at the park with Daddy while Mommy, Nana, and Auntie shopped.
Then we went home so I could take a big nap, I was exhausted from my busy morning! After I woke up Nana had to go home to take care of Reggie, Tanner, and Papa. Auntie, Mommy, Daddy, and I went to shop a little more. Auntie took me to her Cub Foods and I showed her how to drive the rocket ships. I'm an excellent rocket ship driver!
These are the high points of my trip to Doof.

THANKS FOR A FUN WEEKENED AUNTIE!

My First Lesson in Construction

My Godfather and "Uncle" Derek came over for dinner the other night. I LOVE when he comes to see me. After dinner he played Legos with me. I thought we were just going to play, but I guess Derek had something else in mind....first, he built a house for me. We disagreed a bit in how to correctly construct a house, but he claimed he had "more experience" in building houses than I do. He said it would be very sturdy, but after I had my way with it, it crumbled to pieces. Then Derek suggested we make a tower, I was pretty sure I had more expereince building towers, but Derek once again built the tallest and most sturdy tower I have ever seen. We used every one of my blocks! Here is a picture of us with our tower.

Derek, you are welcome to play Legos at my house anytime! :)

C'mon, Vamanos!

Mommy and I have been going to the library a lot lately. She said she needs books for school, but she lets me pick out some books too. I like to find the Dora books. I've picked up some Spanish from reading the books. Sometimes when I'm playing and Mommy can't hear me I practice my Spanish. I say things like "uno, dos, tres, quatro, cinco". Or sometimes when I talk to Lady I say "Lady, vamanos"....but Lady is not a very good listener in English, and I haven't taught her Spanish yet.

Welcome

Hi! I'm Natalie, but my mommy and daddy call my MaGee. I'm starting this blog so that everyone can keep up with me....it's not an easy thing to do!
I can't wait to tell you about all the things I'm learning and doing!
