I kissed a goat and I liked it

This weekend my friend, Auntie Amy, came to Lakeville to visit me. Since she had never been to an apple orchard before, I took her, Mommy and Daddy to Emma Krumbee's in Belle Plaine. We had a lot of fun. First, I fed a camel grass. He was so big! Daddy wanted to go on a camel ride, but I told him that we probably didn't need to do that.
Then, they had a big Noah's Ark climber. Daddy loves playing on the climbers so I played with him in it for a long time. They even had a fireman's pole, so I let daddy catch me at the bottom.
Then, we took a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch. I showed Auntie, Daddy, and Mommy how to pick the best pumpkin. You have to hug them all and see which one hugs the best. I found the perfect one!
After we had our pumpkin we walked out to look at all the scarecrows.....they were pretty funny! There also were some goats. I went to visit them. They were so cute I just had to give them a kiss! Mommy wasn't so happy about me kissing the goats, but I liked it!
Finally we went to pick apples. Mommy and Auntie picked most of the apples. I went on Daddy's shoulders and picked apples from way up high! Then, Daddy and I shared some apples....there is nothing better than eating an apple fresh from the orchard.
After the apple picking Mommy, Daddy, and Auntie were pretty tired, so I took them home to take a nap. :)

My Trip to "Doof"

This past weekend mommy, daddy and I made a trip to see Auntie Amy in Doof (Duluth). We drove up on Friday night. As soon as I got there Auntie adorned me with gifts and treats. Even tho it was my bedtime, Auntie let me stay up late to drink apple juice and have bunny crackers! (Auntie Amy is the BEST!)
After we woke up Saturday morning Nana come to see us. She brought something called Apple Fritters....they were the biggest treat I had ever seen! They were sooooooooo tasty!!!!!
We went down to Lake Superior (or Big Blue as my Daddy calls it). We posed for a few pictures but it was SOOOOOOOOO cold Nana and I went in the museum while Mommy, Daddy, and Auntie went down the pier. After we left the lake we went to the Fall Fest. I mostly played at the park with Daddy while Mommy, Nana, and Auntie shopped.
Then we went home so I could take a big nap, I was exhausted from my busy morning! After I woke up Nana had to go home to take care of Reggie, Tanner, and Papa. Auntie, Mommy, Daddy, and I went to shop a little more. Auntie took me to her Cub Foods and I showed her how to drive the rocket ships. I'm an excellent rocket ship driver!
These are the high points of my trip to Doof.

THANKS FOR A FUN WEEKENED AUNTIE!

My First Lesson in Construction

My Godfather and "Uncle" Derek came over for dinner the other night. I LOVE when he comes to see me. After dinner he played Legos with me. I thought we were just going to play, but I guess Derek had something else in mind....first, he built a house for me. We disagreed a bit in how to correctly construct a house, but he claimed he had "more experience" in building houses than I do. He said it would be very sturdy, but after I had my way with it, it crumbled to pieces. Then Derek suggested we make a tower, I was pretty sure I had more expereince building towers, but Derek once again built the tallest and most sturdy tower I have ever seen. We used every one of my blocks! Here is a picture of us with our tower.

Derek, you are welcome to play Legos at my house anytime! :)

C'mon, Vamanos!

Mommy and I have been going to the library a lot lately. She said she needs books for school, but she lets me pick out some books too. I like to find the Dora books. I've picked up some Spanish from reading the books. Sometimes when I'm playing and Mommy can't hear me I practice my Spanish. I say things like "uno, dos, tres, quatro, cinco". Or sometimes when I talk to Lady I say "Lady, vamanos"....but Lady is not a very good listener in English, and I haven't taught her Spanish yet.

Welcome
